Tyler's kindergarten graduation and Kinder eggs

Tyler graduated from Kindergarten yesterday afternoon. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. He has grown and learned so much this year, and I've enjoyed watching him change as his knowledge of things grows. He is becoming such great reader and mathematician. He has a lot more confidence in his ability to learn new things. We're so proud of you Tyler!!

Also, last Friday, my sweet sister, Cheryl, mailed to me some Kinder eggs that we'd bought together near her home in Connecticutt. That was quite a miracle on her part, since they'd gone from her house in CT, to Utah in a moving van, then back to Nebraska in the same moving van, then she mailed them to me. Very sweet of her to do all of that for me. Here's the kids opening theirs. They'd never seen Kinder eggs before, so they didn't know of the surprise inside.

For those of you who have never heard of or seen kinder eggs before, they are chocolate hollow eggs, with a toy inside. I think they're originally from Germany, but I think you can find them anywhere in Europe now. We found them in the "Polish District" in New Britain, Connecticutt. You just buy them, and you have no idea what's inside until you open them up.

Thanks for posting that! So cute! I'm glad they made it there alright. I was worried they might melt or something.

And I love that Tyler had a graduation cap and everything. Tell him we're so proud of him!

It was so much fun to watch the videos - Almost made me feel like I was at Tyler's graduation. he does look cute in his cap! YEA, TYLER - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It's hard to believe you finally got to give the eggs to the kids, so I'm glad you video-recorded it. I love that Tyler seems totally focused on the prize inside and Emalyn seems quite focused on the chocolate; a true female! I would be the same.

love you!
