We let each of the kids choose their favorite plane to have their picture with. Here's Krysta with the "Section Eight", a P51-D Mustang, also flown in WWII.
Yesterday was Scott's birthday. We had a lot of fun. He requested a dinner of Montreal-seasoned pan-seared steak, green salad, rolls and for dessert, pumpkin pie. Around here, we don't really love cake, so we often have substitutes for our "birthday cake". Scott chose pie.
Here is Scott and our very excited children, with his presents. The kids and I made up a treasure hunt for him to find his presents. Needless to say, since they helped make the hunt's clues, they also had no problem helping him when he couldn't figure out where to go next. But he finally found his treasure of presents. Emalyn gave him a drawstring bag she made, Tyler gave him a coupon to clear his dinner dishes away, and we also gave him Reese's candies and a belt sander.

HAPY BIRTHDAY again, to Scott. Sorry we missed him; I'm sure he loved our renditions of "Happy Birthday"... The pie looks perfect, and it looks like pumpkin - yummy.
The museum looks a lot like the aerodrome in our area - come visit us again if you want to see more old airplanes, and even watch some of them fly. love you!
Happy Birthday Scott!!!!
Victoria and Elena have been singing all day long, but when I put the camera out they stop. Just imagine it, that way you won't have to hear it 100 times in one day :-)
Happy Birthday! I thought of you in the morning, but knew that wouldn't be a good time to call... and then I forgot.
Sorry! It looks like it was a fantastic birthday though!
